Our support services are all based on time. Time is the biggest and most costly factor in computer maintenance and support services. This is why it has become a trend to throw faulty equipment away rather than repair it.
This is a very popular and simple solution. In a nutshell, you purchase a block of time and use it up! We even guarantee to attend to your issue within 8 working hours of you reporting it. You can use this time for anything you like, including general housekeeping and we will work with your third party vendors.
You have access to our engineers over the phone, via remote desktop and in person at your premises. So really, you have your own I.T dept for a fraction of the cost and none of the headaches of employing someone to look after you system. You will be given a logon to our helpdesk portal enabling you to keep track of exactly what’s going on.

Sometimes training can get overlooked. Many people are self- taught, picking things up as they go along, finding out on the internet or reading a good book. It has become an assumption that everyone knows how to use a word processor or compile email. Most will get by, but if you need to use a particular package or you have become the unofficial office oracle then you may need to look at getting some proper training.

REMOTE BACKUP
It’s a simple idea. Overnight or whenever work for you, your computer takes a copy of any files you have changed, compresses and encrypts them for security, then ships them over the internet to our offsite backup server.
We offer a fully automatic, off-site, secure (encrypted) remote backup solution - you don’t need us to tell you how important your data is and the devastating effect losing it would have on your business. But we have a solution that might just help you sleep at night.
We now offer a remote backup solution for your server, workstation or laptop to our secure servers. Your data is encrypted to keep it safe and the whole operation is automated so you don’t need to remember to change your backup tapes!
How does it work?
Remote backup is like regular backup software but, instead of sending your data to a tape drive in your building, our solution sends it over the Internet to our secure servers at ISS. Backups can be scheduled to run over night or on-demand, any time and you can restore your data just as easily.
You’re in control. The software is driven from your server, workstation or laptop and you can backup or restore all or some of your data at any time.

FTP Server
New in our range of hosted solutions is "Upload.GS" - the FTP-based solution for companies needing to send and receive large files (e.g. > 10 Megabytes).
A BRIEF HISTORY OF ISS
ISS was started in 1992 by Anthony Goold and Michael Wareman as a software house.
They wrote all kinds of software packages but their first project was called “SEU4PC” which was a source entry utility for the PC to write RPG code for an AS/400 or similar Midrange system. This was their first “proper project” and they had to collect the cheque from their client so that they could buy a printer and print the invoice ! This was the beginnings of ISS.
They also wrote a package called “Garage Works” which was a software tool to help garages sell cars, but understand what each car owed them and to calculate the tax to be paid on each vehicle. They then found they were being asked for computers to install our software on so they started building computers!
From there, they moved to networking computers which, back in the days of DOS was no mean feat. Over the years, ISS has moved away from writing software and concentrated on the support of IT systems. ISS now specializes in supporting networks and providing solutions to small businesses that would only normally be found in big organizations. In effect, ISS provides Clients with their own ICT dept for a fraction of the cost.
At the beginning of 2007, ISS took on the Telecoms market with the emergence of Voice over IP and ISS now supply and support Panasonic Phone systems. |
